I came here because I had a coupon. I'll be back though because the people working here were nice and informative. Yes, I am the girl who asked the guy behind the register what his favorite sandwich is and if he'd recommend anything. He directed me to an edited version of one of their top sellers that came with a side of au juis (sp?). It was good. Portions are good and even without a coupon the prices aren't bad. Still haven't tried that meatball sub that supposedly makes them famous. Maybe next time.

My first experience at this location was rather unpleasant. The man at the front counter didn't even look at me as he stared at the screen below him before asking what I wanted. I ordered two meals and proceeded to wait roughly 20 minutes. Considering there was only about 5 meals ahead of me I was shocked at the waiting time. I will admit the food was good. But, upon my second return thinking that my first experience was a rogue instance, I did receive improved service from a nice lady at the counter. I was the only one in store, but it took about 5 minutes to get a meal with three people working on it behind the counter. I'm not sure what takes so long. Are they writing a book while they prepare my sandwich? Regardless, for the price I paid the quality isn't as impressive as the reviews led me to believe. I've tried four sandwiches and neither of them really stood out. In fact, I hardly remember which ones I ordered outside of knowing it was four different sandwiches I've tried. If you're looking for alternatives to Subway, which I hope you avoid like the plague, then this is a viable option. Just expect a waiting period and nothing impressive.

I placed some orders on line, first one was it ready even I was 20 minutes late to pick up, and the latest one was terrible: they said they didn't received it, stared at me, like it was my fault. Of course, they didn't apologize. I will never go to this location again, ever.

Went to my very first Firehouse Subs earlier this month. My son has been telling me how awesome these subs are and I would have to agree. My standard Italian sub was darn pretty good. Clean, quick, tasty food. What else can you ask for?

I actually really enjoy eating at Firehouse! Their subs typically taste so fresh and delicious! I love the newer under 500 calorie options! They are so yummy and huge! What I don't like is the terrible unfriendly attitudes in this location! It used to be that we would walk in a get a "WELCOME TO FIREHOUSE" from nearly everyone on the line. The last few times we have been in we are lucky to get someone to look at us. Today I went in and when I approached the register the young lady literally starred at me over her glasses and never said a single word. No, "Hi", " how are you?", or even "what do you want?" I said hello to her and she still just stared at me... I ordered... she never asked if I wanted a drink or chips and she also never asked if I wanted my sandwiches "Fully involved". Yes we have been here a time or two. She was also the same person who brought our food out, set it on the table and walked away with again no customer interaction whatsoever. I am also really disappointed that over 90% of the hot sauce bottles are EMPTY! Why have them out if you can't even get a drop out of them? Not sure what is happening to this location but it is very sad. Hope the managers/owners can give it some much needed attention soon! We won't be visiting again for a while.

Good tasty subs, a great selection of hot sauces. 4+ stars for the food. Slow and disinterested service without a smile. 2- stars for the service. MUCH better than the Firehouse in the Belmar section of Lakewood, where the staff hollers "Welcome to Firehouse" every time someone walks in the door.

Even though I gave 3 stars - I think the food is a 4. The subs are always hot/toasted - plus they serve Coke products (sorry Quiznos). I had never tried hot sauce on a sub until coming here and I must say I am addicted. The sauce selection is great! Unfortunately - the service is always slow and average. I have learned to avoid this place on weekends as they tend to get a bit too busy (meaning really long wait). If you haven't tried a Firehouse Sub yet, I recommend swinging by.

Coming from Jersey I never heard of firehouse subs but I'm glad I decided to stop in. A nice change from subway and quiznos you can taste the difference in the meat, add one of the many hot sauces that they have and get a mixed drink using their coke machine. The cherry lime ade is slamming! Today was my second time in and I got the Thai pulled pork sandwich that's only out for a limited time. It was good but not great, just enough to satisfy my hunger without being too full. My brother in law got the chicken salad and said it was good nothing spectacular. All in all I'll probably come back if I'm in the mood for a sub sandwich and not in the mood for subway. Good clean place, had the soccer game on Espn, friendly staff and a nice selection of sandwiches and drinks.

Kinda blah this visit. Maybe because it was on a weekday at lunch and the restaurant is staffed with high school kids behind the counter during this period. The steak sandwich I ate tasted more like roast beef. The peppers tasted kinda sweet - even by sweet pepper standards. Finally, it was full of obnoxious Highlands Ranch high schoolers who basically left trash behind them wherever they went while manipulating two cell phones at once. The last point may not be the restaurant's fault but it is annoying none-the-less. One positive - this location has updated to the new style mix-your-own Coke machine that seems to be making an emergence around Denver. Overall it was a solid 3 - meh, it was okay but not worth going out of one's way.

Pretty damn good sandwich. I got the cheddar beef brisket sandwich. If you like meat, cheese, and bbq sauce, that is the one for you.

The Firehouse makes great subs! Love the medium Hook, fully involved, on wheat. Make it a combo with chips a drink and your out the door for $7.98. Also, appreciate a business that is always busy and the keeps making improvements. Check out their fancy high tech touch screen drink dispenser, pretty cool! At 690 calories and 26 grams of fat the Hook and Ladder is not necessarily a great wellness choice. However it is head and shoulders above a healthier Subway sub in flavor. Pretty close to where I work, and a very nice change from Subway. They have good choices and fresh ingrediants, and a wide array of hot sauces to choose from. There's not much else to say about it, a sandwich is a sandwich, after all. But I do like the place, and come here often. The downside, it's slow. Every time I come here the employees take their sweet time making the food. The wait really seems excessive for what's being ordered. That's my only real critique, I will probably keep coming back, just not when I'm in a rush.

From Florida I try to find my favorites up here and did NOT think I'd be finding a Firehouse Sub!! I am a die hard fan of the Hook 'N Ladder on white, fully involved. I can't tell you how good it is. You must go there now, and find out for yourself! They even guarantee you'll love it, or it's on them. My husband has got me stuck on the steak sub though, minus the onion and peppers, yes on the cheese, mayo & mustard. Hello heaven, how are you? I go to Subway to get my usual chicken sub on a salad now, and when I want a sub, I'll gladly drive the distance from Aurora to Highlands Ranch for these beauties of a sub. They also have a new Coke machine that you can add custom flavors to your drink. I'm a sweet tea girl and it always tastes the same, as do the subs.

We love this place, excellent subs! I'll never go anywhere else as long as a firehouse subs is around. Love love love the sauces.

I'm still torn between giving the restaurant 4 or 5 stars. I still think the food is fantastic and workers are very friendly. But I was there recently and the door to the bathroom was a little sticky and several of the tables still had crumbs on them. I know it's not 5 start dining or a formal restaurant. Other than those things, the place is still great. They have a new sodapop dispenser which has a touch screen for selecting your drinks, similar to a jukebox. It's pretty cool. I found out that they sell 5 gallon buckets for $2. Much cheaper than Home Depot. These are leftover buckets that they buy their pickles in. I needed a bucket for brining a turkey. The only bucket we had at home was used for home improvement projects and even after cleaning it with bleach, I didn't feel comfortable putting food in it. So anytime I need a 5 gallon bucket in the future, I will buy more from Firehouse Subs.

After living in Florida for 2 years I fell in love with Firehouse subs. Upon moving back to Colorado I had to come to grips with the fact that there are no Firehouse Subs within any immediately surrounding states, yes I would have drive hundreds of miles for a hook and ladder. When this Firehouse subs opened I made an immediate trip. I have missed it as badly as I miss not paying bills. I cried as I took my first bite of hook and ladder with that beloved firehouse sauce. Needless to say I purchased a bottle of sauce to take home and we have been back numerous times since. If you need a sandwich and want the best then this is the place to go. Hopefully they will open one that isn't a 30 minute drive from my home.

I was very surprised and impressed with Firehouse. Besides having a fun brand, the food is excellent. I really like their take on "hot sauces" (they have a huge collection of hot sauces ranging in hottest 1 to 10). The subs take a bit long to get prepared -- but worth the wait.

Terrible service - 4 people "working" but only 1 doing all the work so it took too long. Especially since there was no line. The others were standing around talking instead of working. One girl was too busy talking to a "customer" about her band. The guy working just stood there after taking the order. And they got my order wrong - I paid for mushrooms I didn't get and got onions I specifically said I didn't want. Quality of meat on steak and cheese was only ok - was a bit fatty. This was my first and last visit - too many other better places to choose from.

Tried this place on a whim and I gotta say it's the best sub sandwich I've ever had. Ingredients are fresh and very tasty. My personal favorite is the sweet and spicy meatball. Unbelievable! It is a little pricey but compared to quiznos or subway the flavors and quality can't be matched. They also have a plethora of hot sauces to try. White Zombie is my new favorite. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed. Side note: they give FD/EMS free large drinks.

After a long hard search I was so happy that a Firehouse Subs was in the area, after driving thru a snowstorm I made it to Firehouse and it was so worth the drive. Not to be biased but this i and still is the best sandwich Ive ever had. Ive been around the world and its still the best. I had the New York Steamer fully involved. True it does take longer and is a little more expensive than other but its the quality is what I like. I don't get skimped on toppings like at Subway or Quiznos. Subway just microwaves their subs, Quiznos toasts their subs but Firehouse steams their subs which gives it a great taste. All in all ill go back back again, just wish it was closer and oh yeah they bring the sandwich to your table which I love

I have been meaning to try this place since I got back to Denver a few months ago. It's founded by firemen (an obvious plus) and was pretty good. I wouldn't say it differs a whole lot from a place like Quiznos, but they did have some unique sandwhiches, the service was good, and the environment was enjoyable. I might even go so far as to say I would pick this place over Subway or Quiznos since I need to try things like their "hook and ladder" sandwich.

I went here for lunch once, because i was curious. it was pretty good, but basically quiznos. and i prefer quiznos. it was a little expensive for a sub, and it took a while to make. but it was tasty. though i don't know if i'd go back...

I am a sub guy and always like to hit up new places. I know this is a chain and sometimes that means not the best attention to details. But I went to firehouse and had the steamer this week and fell in love with this place. Great meat really sauce (I am and sauce guy) sub and great atmosphere. I likes it so much I went back the next day and tried the brisket and loved that one too. The cherry lime aid is a little sweet but a great compliment to the cubs.
